1. Confidence in His ability

I took some time today to read my journal from my time in Africa when I ran across something I wrote on July 7th:

a Valuable Leadership lesson:  Being confident in God’s ability to overcome every obstacle is essential in the act of motivating the people you are leading to complete God’s agenda.

As leaders we are faced with much resistance when we attempt to complete the task that God has comissioned us to do. When it comes to advancing the Kingdom of God, resistance can be expected:

    Plans will fall through.

People will doubt the outcome of the situation you are in.

    Our strength will fail.

But as leaders it is vital that we are confident in God’s strength to make his will be done and his plans accomplished. We must model for those we lead a child-like dependence on our Fathers ability, because in demonstrating unrestrained faith we invite others to do the same.
